> Entered into several Cloud Services Agreements totaling $14.1 billion in contracted sales to provide customers with access to compute capacity, which resulted in $1.6 billion in incremental AI infrastructure revenues for the second quarter
is this the renting out of data center capacity to Google and Anthropic, or is there something else?
The fact they grouped "AI solutions & infrastructure revenues" makes it seem like there's still no significant Grok consumer uptake (and I don't see why there would ever be).

Wouldn't it also be difficult for Grok to monetize through ads like OpenAI or enterprise customers like Anthropic?

I am struggling to see the 92% figure as broad operating growth. About $1.9B of the $3.7B increase came from AI infrastructure, but that segment still lost $1.26B from operations and required $15.8B of capex during the quarter.
Consumer Starlink contributed only $764M of the increase, while most important ARPU dropped from $85 to $66.
